Zest Dinner Set Commission May 2022

In May of 2022 I was kindly asked to create a dinner set for a customers first home, a dream commission! I was asked to create 4 dinner plates, 4 tea plates, 4 pasta bowls and 4 cereal bowls. I completed the commission using press moulds of existing dinnerware and drape moulds to achieve the uniform sizes. The customer was open to the design but specified they loved the oranges, lemons, limes and leaves the most, so we created a collection that incorperated these but also varied from each item. The commission was completed in stoneware clay, underglazes and transparent glaze.
